This is the 393rd book in this series. I honestly can not put into words how AMAZING this series is. I am a HUGE fan of Vampire/Human Romance and other than Twilight, and The Argeneau Series, I have not been able to find a series or even a single book that could compare...until now. The Briar Creek Vampire Series is a MUST READ! I am slightly over 40 years old and I can not put this series down. So whether you're a teen or an adult, you should read this series - just be sure to start with book 1 so you understand everything going on... although the Authors do give you a little info when they bring up a topic from one of the prior books so if you don't start with book 1, you can keep up, but I feel it will not be as good as fully understanding what transpired in the previous books.

Definitely a you adult book. Characters are almost all teens and they are not that smart!!! Could have been alot better if they hadn't made the main character in the book such a dumb blonde!!!
This is a very good read. You never know what is coming next. I hope that the next book gets to let some of the secrets come out. I can't wait to start to read the next book. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have.
Thicker Than Water picks up right where Kiss of Death left off. All the stuff I said in the review for Kiss of Death still apply to this book.
I read this book rather quickly, I liked the story line, I liked that it's an easy read, and again the ending leaves an impossible cliff hanger. I got to the last page and wanted the third book. I contacted one of the authors because my daughter wanted to know when the third book was coming out and she said they are shooting for the end of this month (January).
If you like vampires, especially the old school kind that turn into bats, then you will like this. It's nice to go back to the original vampire legends sometimes.
All in all, it was a nice read.
When I picked this book up and started reading I thought I wouldn't enjoy but I was wrong I loved it great YA book with lots of twiats and turns and easy to follow.
I would highly recommended this book for an enjoyable read with a story that gets you in every book.
When I first started reading the series I was taken in right away. I know everyones first thought is Twilight. Yes its about vampires but with a twist. If I had to compare the two this would be right up there. The story keeps you wondering who is good and who is bad. Dont want to ruin the story for anyone. I don't know why or how it happened but I am sooo hooked to this series. Why? I can't exactly say. Sometimes the writing though is so god-awfully bad that I can't help but laugh out loud. Its like a parody of other vampire novels! Its intriguing enough though that I have already bought book 3. Its a car accident you can't turn away from! Plus I will admit, the Morses know how to pull out a great cliffhanger. I really want to know too is Gabe a good guy or not? He seems like a creep to me but who knows.

I think its safe to say that I will keep buying these no matter how bad they get. I am such a glutton for punishment!
Book two basically picks up where book one ends. Lexi may be making a friend or two and Gabe is.......? hmmmm. She has started school and even has a part time job as a life guard. Her investigation into Austin's death continues (which raises more questions) and she is spending a little more time with Dan?????? Her aunt and uncle are still insisting that he would be better for her. It appears that she may have someone that is trying to help her and may have someone following her. The ending to this one may just have beat the first book! LOL Enjoy!

The mysteries continue with the second book and it is just as intriguing as the first book. You will not be disappointed!
